I enjoy working with local Tenbury businesses to help them get online and you may recognize in my portfolio some of the clients I have worked with since setting up in business myself back in 2009.
Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire
When Tenbury Town Council asked me to redesign their website the first thing I needed to do was to understand how the council worked and what they were responsible for in the town. I wanted the site to be easy to navigate for both the residents of Tenbury and the town councillors themselves.
Dawn, the Town Clerk, now has a website that she can easily update with agendas, minutes, meetings and news
Tenbury Town Band had had a web presence for a number of years but needed a more up to date version that would give them the flexibility to update it on a regular basis and that would allow them to showcase their charity & promote upcoming events.
The Band are very proud of their history and achievements and this was very apparent when working with Mel & Lorraine. The website contains music clips, videos and lots of photo galleries from the town band tours.
The Spotty Dog Tearoom is in the middle of Teme Street in Tenbury Wells. As well as serving lovely food the Tearoom is also a gallery for local and international artists. The gallery displays prints, paintings, jewellery, crafts and textiles etc.
Hilary from Spotty Dog also offers a picture framing service in Tenbury Wells and was keen to promote this on her website.
Spotty Dog is a really nice tearoom and well worth a visit if you are in town!
The Website for Bowkett''s Supermarket in Tenbury includes lots of information about the services they provide. It includes awards that they have won for their butchery products as well as details of local suppliers.
In addition we have also included a flip page brochure to highlight the in store promotions. We update this brochure every three weeks and then using the email marketing facility, attached to the website, the team at Bowkett's send out an email to their customers to advertise the new promotional leaflet.
Marilyn is a long established business in Tenbury Wells selling fashion lines from designer labels not normally found on the High Street. The collections that Marilyn chooses to stock in her shop are good quality lines that are reasonably priced.
We update the website twice a year with the Autumn/ Winter and Spring/ Summer seasons.
Redroofs B&B is a new business in Tenbury Wells that can be found on Boraston Lane. Mike & Jane have created a luxury bedroom with ensuite facilities and are now open to welcome guests to their home to enjoy "the room with a view" and full english cooked breakfast.
Their website is a 3 page site that showcases the accommodation available to potential new clients looking for somewhere to stay whilst visiting the "Town in the Orchard".

It was great to see Mark & Natasha Griffiths take over and restore this well known local 17th Century Pub back to its former glory and one way they brought their restaurant into the 21st Century was to get their business online.
As well as a restaurant and bar the The Fountain Inn also offers accommodation and is the perfect venue for a wedding reception in Tenbury.
As an artist, designer and blacksmith Peter Crownshaw has over the years worked on some amazing projects and created some fantastic works of art in various metals.
You may have seen the silver tree on Oldwood common that was created as a millenium project to mark the year 2000. Each leaf on the tree is engraved with the name of a local resident.
I really enjoyed working to create a website for Peter that could showcase his skill as a bespoke artist blacksmith.

I first met Chris Brain the owner of Teme Valley Electrical Services through the Teme Valley Business Group of which we are both members. Chris had owned the domain name for his business for awhile but had not got around to getting a website up online.
Chris is an electrician and electrical contractor providing services for commercial, public sector, industrial and retail clients across the UK.
Now that his website is live I am looking forward to helping Chris grow his business online.
